Princess Beatrice was a vision in a white and pink floral dress at Royal Ascot yesterday, despite the heat.
The Princess’ dress came from Claire Mischevani, the ‘Ivory Crepe Jardin Dress’, which cost a whopping £1795. It features long sleeves, puffed at the shoulder, a crew neckline, flared below-the-knee skirt with central front pleat, which is mirrored on the back.
Delicate pink and green applique flowers – complete with beads and pearls – sprawl across the dress like a climbing plant. I love it!
Interestingly, Lady Gabriella Windsor (a distant cousin to Beatrice) also wore the label to the event.
Beatrice’s bag came from Valentino, and was used at the Royal Wedding in 2011. It features a bow, which doubles up as a handle for the clutch.

Her shoes came from Stuart Weitzman, the ‘Capsize’ Mary-Jane shoe in blush from the brand’s 2012 collection. These 4 inch leather heels complimented the clutch and dress well, with a trademark twist that Beatrice loves with the metallic toe. RRP was c. £285.
Finally, the hat came from Goldust Millinery, costing £295. The ‘pink butter’ leather base supports an organza hydrangea flower, in various nude tones, with wire ‘stamens’ holding pink Swarovski crystals; the stem is also visible.
Overall, I quite liked this look, despite its hefty price tag. Beatrice is definitely the bolder of the York sisters, and although she sometimes misses the mark, she often nails it, like she did at Ascot.
