Princess Beatrice of York opted for lilac on Easter Sunday, choosing a lace piece reminiscent of Temperley, as seen on The Duchess of Cambridge in India. However, I cannot find the piece on their site, nor anywhere else; it might be a piece purchased last year, though the colour does suggest a spring line. The dress is from All Saints (thanks to @polakpopp), the ‘Rowan’ and cost £188. It has a high neckline, long sleeves and a flared skirt, hidden zip to the back, all in the geometric lace.
Her shoes – a velvet pair of Mary-Janes – came from Gianvito Rossi and seem to be sold out. They were a deep burgundy/purple, with a large round buckle and leather tab on the strap for the adjustment holes. The block heels were 4 inches and the shoes retailed in the region of £600. A nice pairing, I thought.
Her bag came from Wilbur and Gussie, distinctive with its bee clasp on the purple/magenta satin. This was a custom combination, and if you like W&G’s bags, you too can choose a colour and clasp. However, this being satin, the shoes velvet and the hat leather-like seemed too much for me.
Finally, the hat had a round bronze base with purple and bronze flowers from Justine Bradley-Hill. It is called ‘Midas’.
