Princess Beatrice of York also showed her support at the Commonwealth Fashion Exchange yesterday joining The Countess of Wessex and Duchess of Cambridge.
Beatrice wore an Erdem Dress and Jimmy Choo Mary Jane Pumps; both pieces the Princess has worn on many occasions before.
Photos have sadly been few and far between of the young Royal, so we’ll show you what we have.
Beatrice’s Erdem ‘Lily Pelham Dress’ was originally part of the Autumn 2012 line. It features half sleeves, a round neckline, a fitted top and a fit and flare skirt. The dress is made from silk-crepe and has a blue, grey and pink floral motif. The back of the dress features a large black lace insert.
Was this a brave choice by Beatrice to wear a dress that is at least six years old, when Anna Wintour wore a piece fresh from Erdem’s Pre-Fall 2018 collection? Or does it simply show that this dress is a timeless piece?
The Princess chose Jimmy Choo ‘Daphne 120 Navy Velvet Ankle-Wrap Heels’ for the evening. The heels feature a large platform, thick block heels and an ankle strap with gold hardware square buckle fastenings. These shoes are quite expensive and retail for £725, when they were available at ModeSens.
We can’t be sure, but from the photos, Beatrice might be wearing a Karen Walker bracelet, and an Alex Woo necklace. The piece shown below is on sale for £410 at the moment here.
