The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Keswick in Cumbria today, meeting with and talking to local vendors and well wishers. Kate was dressed in her signature multi-layered casual style.
The Duchess of Cambridge wore a jacket from Troy London, a brand we have seen her wear on a few occasions within the past year. Kate chose the ‘Tracker Jacket in Olive’, retailing for £275. The classic style utility jacket has a pointed collar, engraved monogrammed bone buttons down the centre, pockets and cuffs. The jacket features pointed flap pockets across the chest and hips with a drawstring centre to create a tighter fit. The light weight summer jacket is finished with honey gold top stitching. You can purchase the jacket here.
Kate rewore her jumper from Swedish brand Fjallraven. The ‘Ovik Re-Wool Sweater Frost Green’ has a round ribbed neckline, cuffs and hem. Made from recycled wool, the jumper has a slim fit. Retailing for £142, you can purchase Kate’s jumper here.
Catherine added a white blouse under the jumper. We could only see a tiny part of the high frilled collar peeking over the neckline of the jumper. She also wore a pair of black skinny jeans which are believed to be from Zara.
Kate wore her See by Chloe ‘Liegi’ suede ankle boots. The chocolate suede ankle boots feature a high stacked striped heel and traction tread. The boots are secured with eyelet laces and a rubber grip at the rear to help pull on the boots. These boots are unfortunately sold out.
The Duchess accessorised with her Kiki McDonough ‘Lauren Pavé Leaf’ earrings, retailing for £1,916. These leaf drop earrings are made from beautiful 18ct yellow gold and pave diamonds. The earrings were inspired by the British ballerina Lauren Cuthbertson. You can purchase these pretty earrings here.
For the more manual activities, Catherine changed into her Barbour ‘Defence Jacket’, which we saw just a few weeks ago. This jacket is now a number of years old; it has a funnel collar, epaulettes, and button pockets to the chest, matched by two larger ones at the hip. Slim fitting, the waxed jacket has a wide zip cover to help keep the wearer warm.
We always love to see casual Kate. However, this look could seem to be too relaxed, but the Duchess always knows what pieces to pull together to create a very polished casual style.
